Teaching Methodology

Our teaching methodology ensures that students are being exposed to a holistic education experience in an active and dynamic learning environment, giving them the opportunity to achieve excellence by identifying and realizing their potential.

Each student possesses a unique combination of multiple intelligences. Our integrated teaching methodology nurtures a stimulating learning environment to encourage students to learn at higher levels. Instructional strategies are student-centred and include active learning, inquiry, experience-based learning, cooperative and participative learning activities. We focus on integration of knowledge, development of critical thinking, problem solving, performance skills and value based education. Such a learning environment encourages the students to enjoy lessons, try out new things and to think creatively and independently.

Classroom teaching involves Discussion, Lively interaction with the students, PowerPoint presentations, worksheets and Smart Class Programme. Smart class is a digital initiative by Educomp and Tata edge which provides a comprehensive solution in meeting day to day classroom challenges and enhancing student’s academic performance with simple, practical & meaningful use of technology. Smart class is powered by a vast repository of digital instruction materials exactly mapped to meet with the specific objectives laid out by different state learning standards. The content repository consists of thousands of highly animated, lesson specific, 3D and 2D multimedia modules built with an Instructor-led design that allows the teacher to effectively transact the lesson in a typical classroom of diverse set of learners.

Stimulated situations and role-plays give students an insight into real life situation. Educational and inspiring films are shown to the students on regular basis. Assignments are given to students which are application based. Projects are prepared by the students for a deeper insight into various topics. Workshops are conducted for students to emphasize on problem-solving through interaction and exchange of information. Students have access to computer and Internet facilities, enabling them in data searches and computer-aided learning.

Students have access to a well-stocked library with latest books, periodicals, newspapers, journals. Prints and records are available for reading and references.
